David Turner Expands Role at K&R as Executive Coach

Kincannon & Reed, the largest global executive search firm specializing in the food and agriculture industries, is proud to announce that David Turner, Chairman of the Board, will now also serve as an Executive Coach through the firm’s K&R EDGE Leadership Solutions division. This new role follows David’s successful completion of multiple coaching certifications: the Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification from ACT Leadership/Brown University School of Professional Studies and the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

David has been a key figure at Kincannon & Reed for over 14 years, holding leadership positions including Principal, President, and now Chairman of the Board. His extensive career includes leading PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Canadian agribusiness practice and holding various domestic and international roles at Cargill. David also serves on the Global Board of Directors for the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC), where he was recently appointed to serve as Secretary and Treasurer.

David’s coaching philosophy is rooted in three core principles: awareness, choice, and transformation. His approach empowers senior executives to unlock their potential through introspection and innovative thinking. Reflecting on his journey into formal coaching, David commented:

“I’ve always been curious about people’s stories and how we make decisions as humans. Coaching feels like a natural evolution in my professional growth—a way to formalize my natural abilities and provide meaningful guidance to executives in these critical industries of food and agriculture.”

As part of K&R EDGE Leadership Solutions, David will offer executive coaching services tailored to leaders in the food and agriculture sectors. His unique blend of industry expertise, global perspective, and coaching credentials positions him to make a significant impact on both individual leaders and their organizations.
