Managing Director Sally Day was recently appointed to the National Board of Directors for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
Established in 1982 as a not-for-profit certification organization, NBCC is the premier credentialing body for counselors and coaches. The organization is dedicated to promoting professional standards, advocating for the counseling profession, and increasing access to mental health services through its various programs and initiatives.
Day has been involved with the organization for some time, having earned the BCC (Board Certified Coach) certification from NBCC previously.
“My board term with The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland came to an end and I was looking for new ways to serve and give back when I discovered NBCC was accepting applications,” Day said. “This felt like a great fit given my history with and belief in the organization and its mission. I am excited to contribute my voice to NCBB, knowing our collective expertise and vision will help shape the future of the profession.”
